"The money is in the list" - The number 1 song on the Internet Marketing Chart. If you start out in IM this is all you read, hear and see. But is it true? Is the Guru's religious ramblings valid?
Well for one thing if you belong to someones subscriber list (which I am sure everyone's email belongs to someone other than yourself) then you have the experience of being bombarded with offers. And these offers range from "Must Have Products" , "The next Big Money Maker" , "Hey my buddy (yeah right) is launching this new product" etc. I am sure you are feeling me by now!
But to be honest even though it is sometimes plain annoying to get the same offer multiple times from different sources there is that voice in your head that whispers "I wish I had a list" every time you get offers & info about new things happening in the IM world.
Even if you don't agree with me unfortunately the reality is if you want to make money or more money and take things to the the next level you need a subscriber base. Simply because if you give useful info and over deliver to your subscribers they will buy from you. They will trust you and know that the product you are recommending will be good.
